Georgia Gay-Straight Alliance Summit a Success!!!

Last Saturday, the Georgia Safe Schools Coalition (GSSC) and Georgia Equality hosted the 2nd Annual Georgia Gay-Straight Alliance Summit. The day-long summit brought together more than 150 youth leaders, educators and parents to learn how to establish and sustain GSAs in their schools and motivate broader change throughout the state.

Austin’s life changed after he found empowerment and support through his GSA. And on March 18th, he and Maru will run the Atlanta marathon and half marathon to ensure that other students are given the same opportunity.
